Incorporating Personal and Unique Elements in their Branding: They hoped to integrate creative brand marks and symbols that represent their unique story and resonate with their niche audience of fellow creatives and nerd culture enthusiasts.

Modernizing their Brand Identity Without Losing Authenticity: The Oberports were concerned about maintaining a balance between youthful energy and a more refined, mature aesthetic. As a husband-and-wife team with over 16 years of experience, they wanted their branding to reflect their depth of expertise and creativity while staying relevant.

When The Oberports came to us, they needed a brand that could better communicate the colorful, cinematic, and collaborative experience they offer their clients. 

Here were two of the main challenges we were aiming to help with through rebranding.

The use of regular in the first half of the word, and italics in the second half of the word, is a nod to the portmanteau of the brand name.

A bold, cinematic, film- title-style font reflective of personality and personal taste.

The Oberports embody the Hero and Caregiver archetypes, combining a strong, reliable approach with a nurturing and supportive presence. They are dedicated to capturing timeless wedding moments while ensuring their clients feel cared for and confident every step of the way.

We looked into a blend of nostalgic and bold elements, combining the cinematic drama of classic films and music with a modern, edgy twist. Vibrant shades of purple and green paired with clean typography and textured visuals evoke a sense of creativity, individuality, and timeless sophistication. We also wanted to show a deep connection to storytelling and artistry, making the brand feel both grounded and dynamic.

We always send two brand concepts to our clients, but that doesn't mean we aren't trying out more ideas on the backend.

The brand draws inspiration from their love of classic cinema and the timeless, emotive qualities of old film posters. The logo designs emphasize a balance between vintage charm and modern professionalism, with nods to their passion for storytelling through elements like angled typography and cinematic styles. This thoughtful approach reflects their focus on creating a brand that feels both personal and creative while staying grounded in inclusivity and authenticity.

The goal of The Oberports' website is to inspire trust and guide visitors toward filling out the contact form to book their services. By showcasing their extensive experience, vibrant photography, and organized client process, the site establishes them as approachable yet authoritative wedding experts. Clear calls to action and seamless navigation make inquiring easy to do and the contact page easy to find.

The Goal

To bring the brand to life, we designed their website on WordPress. We focused on a design that utilized the neutral colors in their brand more and used the colors as bold pops throughout to keep within their brand aesthetic.
