Make sure these are set up:

2. Google Search Console

  • You don’t know what pages are being found (or ignored)
  • You don’t know what keywords you’re showing up for

We have seen a lot of photographers think they have no traffic when really they just don’t have visibility into the data!

Your website isn’t optimized for search

If Google doesn’t understand what you do, where you work, or who you serve, it won’t know when to show your site.

You’re relying on social media to do all the work

  • Services (Plus a specific service page, like wedding photography)
  • Blog
  • Contact

You’re only showcasing work, not answering questions

Portfolio pages are important, but they’re rarely what people search for!

Your potential clients are Googling things like:

  • What to wear for engagement photos
  • How far in advance should you book a wedding photographer
  • How elopements actually work
  • What a family photography session is like

If your website doesn’t answer questions, it’s invisible during the research phase. You can answer them by BLOGGING. 

Your website is new or has been recently updated
