Working with Aimee, owner of Please Don’t Blink, was all about creating a space that felt as adventurous and genuine as the stories she captures. Aimee, an elopement and intimate wedding photographer, came to Inkpot Creative ready to transition her website from a “fine” DIY to something bold, unique, and representative of her style. Here’s how we took her website from passable to powerhouse.
About Aimee
Aimee is the creative behind Please Don’t Blink, specializing in photographing intimate weddings and adventure elopements. Her ideal clients are down-to-earth, fun-loving couples ready to do their wedding day their way – whether that’s trekking through forests or indulging in meatballs and donuts with family.
Aimee’s goal was to create a web presence that felt as authentic and exciting as her approach to photography.
What Aimee Needed Help With
Before working with Inkpot Creative, Aimee managed her website on her own. While it got the job done, it lacked the wow factor she needed to stand out in the adventure elopement space.
She wanted a site that would instantly resonate with her personality and help her book dream clients who connected with her unique approach. Aimee realized that her brand needed a serious revamp to match her ambitions.
How Inkpot Creative Helped
We focused on bringing in fun, color, and movement throughout the design – a step away from the muted tones common in the elopement industry. We explored brand archetypes to ensure her site felt cohesive and authentic to her fun, relaxed personality.
By combining these design elements with a streamlined, easy-to-navigate layout, we created a brand website that truly felt like Aimee in every scroll and click.
Results With Inkpot Creative Through Rebranding
Since launching her rebranded website, Aimee has received incredible feedback. Not only does her new website feel like her, but it also stands out as something fun and different in her industry. From the vibrant color palette to unique animations, the rebrand reflects her personality and connects her directly with her ideal couples.
Aimee’s friends, clients, and industry peers have all commented on how well the site represents her adventurous, down-to-earth brand.
Final Thoughts
For Aimee, the rebrand was more than a design update; it was a confidence boost. Her site now reflects the warmth, adventure, and fun her clients can expect from her, helping her stand out and feel empowered to share her work.
This is what we love most at Inkpot Creative – creating websites that don’t just look good but work hard to bring in the clients our photographers are made to work with. If that’s exactly what you are looking for, click here to learn more about The Rebrand Edit, or head over here to get in touch!
About Aimee:
My name is Aimee, and I live in Central Pa. I am a big fan of our 4 distinct seasons, the woods, and having my family close by.
As a lover of Love, adventure, and the outdoors, I feel like I hit the career Jackpot being able to photograph elopements and intimate weddings. I get to document the coolest couples, doing the activities they love, in epic locations, while they say I DO. Is there anything better?
Coming from a photojournalism background, my strength as a photographer comes in anticipating moments and capturing them. I am also the ultimate cheerleader. I want your wedding day to be as amazing as you are!
When I am not photographing weddings, you will probably find me running trails (I have actually run a couple 50 milers), paddle boarding, cross country skiing, drinking coffee, growing killer veggies, or snuggling with my cat Steve.
